Vilhjálmur Þorsteinsson invests in Audur Capital
Vilhjálmur Þorsteinsson has joined the shareholder group of Audur Capital. “I strongly identify with the company’s philosophy which has proven successful. We are already seeing a change of mindset in the business and financial world, Audur’s strategy is very much in line with these changes. The company has clear values and a corporate culture which I believe will deliver better results in the new world. There will be plenty of opportunities for financial companies that have survived the storm with their integrity intact.” says Vilhjálmur who has bought almost 10% of the company’s stock.
Audur will capitalize on Vilhjálmur’s vast experience, particularly in early stage investments through the BJÖRK fund, which he will be joining as a partner.
Vilhjálmur Þorsteinsson has 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently he is an investor and a non-executive board member of a number of companies, including CCP, Verne Holding, DataMarket, Gogogic and Gogoyoko.
