Audur sponsors "SEED OF THE YEAR 2010"
Reykjavik University, Klak – Innovation center, Ideahouse and Audur Capital, sponsor the competition „SEED OF THE YEAR“ to support the initial steps of innovation, providing the entrepreneur the opportunity to develop an idea into a business plan and eventually a startup company.
Two innovators were awarded today at Reykjavik University: „ANDVARI“, Jóhannes Loftsson, a new technology producing a thinner more efficient air condition device and „Nuevo Vehicles“ by Ingólfur Harðarson, a new concept for a flexible eco-efficient city car. Both projects are considered to be able to have an important impact regarding energy efficiency, cost savings and are eco-friendly.
The winners shared a 1.000.000 ISK cash award, in addition they gain access to workspace, and a free tuition in the BUSINESS ACCELERATOR course at Klak.
