Audur sponsors "SEED OF THE YEAR 2010"
Reykjavik University, Klak – Innovation center, Ideahouse and Audur Capital, sponsor the competition „SEED OF THE YEAR“ to support the initial steps of innovation, providing the entrepreneur the opportunity to develop an idea into a business plan and eventually a start-up company.
Two awards for innovation were given today at Reykjavik University: To Johannes Loftsson for ANDVARI, a new technology producing a thinner more efficient air conditioning device and to Ingolfur Hardarson for Nuevo Vehicles, a new concept for an adaptable, eco-efficient city car. Both projects are considered to have the potential for providing an important impact regarding energy efficiency and cost savings, and are eco-friendly.
The winners shared a 1.000.000 ISK cash award, in addition they gain access to workspace, and a free tuition in the BUSINESS ACCELERATOR course at Klak.
