AUDUR I - private equity fund buys all shares in TAL communication company
Audur's private equity fund; AUDUR I, has bought all shares in TAL, the Icelandic telecommunications company.
TAL is a provider of various telecommunication services including fixed and mobile network services and data transfer solutions for consumers and business users. TAL has emphasized a simple product offering and an affordable and transparent pricing system. TAL has 90 employees.
Telecommunication services are a growing part of household and business expenditure. Though this investment AUDUR I plans to capitalize on the growth opportunities of the sector and be a leading provider of simple and efficient telecommunication solutions. AUDUR I will assume management responsibility as of late July 2010.
