AUÐUR I assumes management of TAL telecommunications
New owners have assumed the ownership and management of TAL telecommunications and appointed Mr. Ingvar Garðarsson as the company CEO. TAL is owned by AUDUR I private equity fund and Kjartan Örn Ólafsson who has acquired 5% of the company shares.
TAL (IP-fjarskipti ehf.) is Iceland's third largest telecommunicatoin company and offers all types of telecommunication services.
Ingvar Garðarsson is a certified accountant and has previously worked for Columbia Ventures Corp. and Magnet Networks in Ireland and was the CEO of Halló telecommunications which merged with Og Vodafone in 2002.
TAL's board of directors consists of Halla Tómasdóttir, chairman, Arna Harðardóttir, Hjálmar Gíslason, Kjartan Örn Ólafsson and Hermann Jónasson, TAL's previous CEO.
