Audur I acquires Yggdrasill and Vera lif.
AUDUR I private equity fund has acquired 100% of Yggdrasil ehf. and Vera líf ehf. organic food companies. The companies were previously owned by Arev NI private equity fund.
Yggdrasill and Vera líf are wholesalers and retailers of organic and healthy food products. Among their product offerings are the German brands Rapunzel and Dr. Hauschka Cosmetics, Clipper tea and coffee from the UK, Holle Baby Food from Switzerland and a few brands from the Dutch company Natudis the largest organic producer of Holland and Belgium
This is the fifth investment of AUÐUR I private equity fund, managed by Audur Capital hf. With this investment the fund has strengthened its position on the organic and healthy living markets, but previously the fund acquired a majority stake in Maður Lifandi and BioVörur.
