Halla speaks at TEDWomen
Halla Tomasdottir, founder and Chairman of Audur Capital talked about Audur's values at the TEDWomen event in Washington DC, on December 7th.
TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading and this time the theme was “how girls and women are reshaping the future”. Halla explained how the companies' values were a key factor in getting the company through the eye of the financial storm in Iceland without suffering any losses to its own equity or clients' funds. She also talked about how lack of diversity can have hazardous consequences such as the economic meltdown. Finally she emphasized that men and women are not the same which is a great thing and making use of the differences can be highly synergetic.
