Magnús worked as an analyst at Kaupthing Research Department where he studied capital market development. He also participated in analyzing listed companies, wrote articles and conducted seminars.

Magnús obtained a bachelors degree in business from the Reykjavik University School of Business in 2006. He also studied business at the University of the Incarnate Word in Texas. He graduated with a master’s degree in Investment Management from the University of Reykjavik in 2008.

Magnús likes to relax and enjoy his hobbies. He loves playing golf with friends and family and likes to travel around Iceland with his golf bag in the trunk. He is a great fan of soccer and used to play for the Icelandic junior national team. Today he prefers going to matches as a fan and cheering his younger sister, who is one of the best players in the women’s league.
