Investment portfolios

Our pension plan clients can choose between five different investment portfolios.  The portfolios differ in asset allocation, ranging from Portfolio I with the highest proportion of stocks, to Portfolio V, consisting only of securities and cash deposits.  As you move from Portfolio I to Portfolio V, risk decreases.

We also offer inflation indexed deposits suitable for those who have started withdrawing their savings.

Clients are free to choose a portfolio, but we recomend that risk is reduced as withdrawal draws closer.

You can also choose the future portfolio where holdings are automatically transferred between portfolios in accordance with your age.

"Risk is really a way to assess fluctuations in a portfolio.  The higher the risk, the more fluctuation in the level of returns.  This is a factor that deserves careful consideration when choosing your investment portfolio."

Guðlaug Björk Karlsdóttir, FutureWealth fund manager.
